What is the Lightning Kicks Lineage?

Another question we get all the time. I don’t believe it is my personal fighting accomplishments that make Lightning Kicks such a special world-class school. I believe it’s the genuine, real world relationships with some of the founding members of mixed martial arts. I was drafted into the IFL by coach Pat Miletich a long time ago. Through coach Miletich, I was signed to the H.I.T. Squad (Hughes Intensive Training), a professional fight team lead by Matt Hughes and Robbie Lawler, where I was a resident athlete/fighter for a number of years. I was later introduced to my current mentor and one of my best friends, Jeremy Horn. The world-class knowledge gained has been distilled and passed on to our Lightning Kicks students right here in Kalamazoo, MI. The relationships mentioned here are genuine, real, and consisted of daily interaction over a period of years. Meaning we do not pay an “association fee” to be part of their organizations or use their names. Come learn knowledge handed down directly from some of the martial arts greats.
